Are you ready to have all your favorite schedules — sports, TV shows, and your kids’ school events — integrated smoothly into your Outlook calendar? If so, you’re in the right place.
Imagine never missing a Green Bay Packers game or the return of your favorite TV show because all your favorite events are automatically added right to your outlook calendar. And yes, this includes your kids’ school schedules too. The best part? Once it’s in Outlook through your Office 365 account, it’ll sync across all your devices.
Ready to give it a try? Let’s jump in. Here’s how you can easily add these important schedules, making sure all your favorite events are at your fingertips.
Adding Your Favorite Events to Your Outlook Calendar
Whether you’re following NCAA football or NBA basketball, you can bring your team’s season into your Outlook in a few quick steps.
- Open Outlook Calendar: Head to your Outlook online. Once logged in, navigate to your calendar.
- Add Calendar: In the calendar view, look for the option to “add a calendar.”
- Select Sports: Under “Teams,” you’ll see major leagues like the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLS. Sports fans can even add college teams. For example, here in Kentucky, it’s easy to add the University of Kentucky Wildcats.
- Find Your Team: Search for your favorite team (like my personal choice, the Green Bay Packers). Choose the team, and you’ll see their entire game schedule added to your calendar.
- Customize the Look: You can change the calendar color by clicking on the three dots beside the team’s name. For the Packers, it’s a lighter green, but hey, close enough!
- Remove the Schedule: Want to remove the team’s games later? Simply uncheck it or click the three dots and select “remove.”
Now, every game, from the pre-season to the playoffs, will be on your calendar. Simple, right?
Adding School Schedules
Keeping track of your kid’s school calendar is just as easy. Here’s how you can do it:
- Add School Calendar: Return to “Add Calendar,” but this time select the Schools option.
- Enter Your Location: If you’re in Kentucky like me, just input the zip code for your area (for example, Louisville). You’ll get a list of counties and independent schools.
- Pick a School: From there, you can choose your child’s school, whether it’s elementary or high school.
- Add the Schedule: Once selected, the school’s schedule will now be visible in your Outlook calendar.
Even with your hands full managing dinners, meetings, and after-school activities, your schedule will be fully updated without you having to lift a finger.

Never Miss an Episode of Your Favorite Show
We all have that one show we refuse to miss. (Me? I can’t say no to This is Us.) Want to be that organized friend who knows exactly when each season premiere or finale is airing? Here’s how to do it:
- Add TV Show Schedules: Return to “Add Calendar” and select TV from the options.
- Choose Your Time Zone: Pick the one that fits your area.
- Pick a Network and Show: Whether you follow a show on NBC, Netflix, or more, select it, and it gets added right to Outlook.
- Stay Informed: Now, your calendar will show when that season finale drops or when your new favorite series is going live.
Pretty soon, your friends might be asking if you have room in your schedule for a quick dinner because between your TV shows, your sports teams, and your kids’ happenings, you’ll be the most organized person in the room.

Whether you’re on your laptop, phone, or tablet, all your critical events are instantly visible. So if you’re on the go or busy at work, you’ll still get timely reminders.
There you go! In just a few steps, you’ve added your sports teams, TV shows, and school schedules to Outlook, and you’ll never miss a beat again.
